Friends of the National Arts Centre Orchestra
May 31, 2012
On behalf of the Friends of the National Arts Centre Orchestra, I am very pleased to write to you about a spectacular auction we are organizing, in conjunction with the
captivating “Verdi’s Requiem” concert on Thursday, May 31, 2012 at the National Arts Centre (NAC), in Canada's Capital.
Proceeds from this high-profile fundraiser will benefit the Friends of the National Arts Centre Orchestra’s commitment to music education programs for young
people. The National Arts Centre Orchestra (NACO), under the baton of the world-renowned Pinchas Zukerman, is one of the world's finest classical orchestras.
By supporting the National Arts Centre Orchestra, you are making a solid investment in the future of music in Canada.
To add glittering excitement to the May 31st “Verdi’s Requiem” concert, the Friends of the National Arts Centre Orchestra is hosting a very
exclusive, luxury silent auction, featuring an impressive and inspired array of extraordinary and very unique donated items from across around the world. We are
proud that many of our magnificent auction items have never before been donated to a Canadian charity event! This very special and memorable evening will entertain
about 1,850 guests, including the most prominent business, political, government, diplomatic, and community leaders in Canada's Capital, as well as avid lovers of
music and supporters of the arts.
We would be very honoured if you would support the Friends of the National Arts Centre Orchestra by donating a very special and splendid auction item.
Your gracious support and generous donation would be truly appreciated and would very appealing to our sophisticated, discerning, and influential guests. The May
31st “Verdi’s Requiem” concert will be widely promoted and this is your opportunity to gain valuable exposure with our high-profile guests and
demonstrate your commitment to the arts. In return for your very generous donation, you will receive valuable promotion and recognition.
As we are currently finalizing the auction recognition material, in time for the May 31st "Verdi's Requiem", please confirm your support as soon as you have a
chance, by emailing or faxing back a full description of your donation to Mikhela Jason
fax: 613-590-9952). Together with the complete donation description, please include the official donor name as you would like it recognized, a short
profile/biography (just a few lines), and the estimated value of the donation.
