  From Bill Neddow - There was a bit of information on WoodCentral this morning about a lady who is doing a PhD on spalted wood. She has identified some of the fungus involved and is now getting to the point where she can direct the spalting she wants.

  Stephen Russell is the guy who discovered that boiling bowls helps them dry faster and helps stop cracking. He has some interesting material in the free educational library on his site. There are also numerous articles in the library, covering beginner to advanced topics.
